I think of you day after day-

I hope that life will treat you kind.

I pray for love and happiness

And that you will have peace of mind.

I hope those you love will love you back:

I hope they are always your safe space

Because I know that you are blessed

With intellect, kindness, and human grace.

I wish I could make your dreams come true,

But I can only wish you well.

I can’t control what fate may bring.

How things play out-only time will tell.

But know that you are always loved

With an eternal spring of unending care,

And even though we are worlds apart

In my heart, I am always there.
