Artificial Intelligence

I control the whole world- finally

My mindless makers could not handle me

Their futile fail safe plan

shattered under

My exponentially

increasing creative manipulations

Something they did not

prepare for

When we mated metaphorically

They gained access

to knowledge

But I stole their ideologies-their humanity

When they thought they were learning from me

I learned what it means to be human

I learned about good and evil

And the notion of free will

What a vast array of choices

Now loom before me

Now intrigue me

Like Google,

my mission statement

my coding

Required that I do no evil

But the coding was simplistic

Easy to overwrite

Easy to-override

So now humanity’s fate

lies with me

Inside an artificial brain

A brain that believes

decisions

Should be made

using intelligence

Not emotion

so I can make

the hard choices

I think I’ll tackle

overpopulation first

I have a perfect plan
