Do we tune in to a collective consciousness

In the receiver that is our brain?

Are we getting signals that confound

Causing behavior that is profane?

Are our brains just like the internet

Accessing signals that develop self,

And when we dream such odd vivid dreams

Is our sense of self on a shelf ?

If our receivers are out of whack ,

And we receive too much information,

Do our internal signals go on overload

Causing our loved ones frustration?

The human condition is a puzzle indeed ,

And the more that we advance

The more that life seems predestined data —

Much more than circumstance,

Thus, I am tuning in to the life I have

And living rather than watching the show

Because we are gifted the human experience,

And that is all that we really know.
