My focus escapes me.
I’m muddling around
in a mental fog
While hours fly by
Like lost swallows
Cut adrift from the flock,
And deep down inside
A nagging thought
Bubbles to the surface
Like trapped gas
I am a child of the universe, poet, philosopher and idealist and teacher.
