Gratitude

The cup is not half empty; it’s half full.

It’s not a deadend, merely just a lull.

It’s in my grasp if I decide to fight.

If I don’t choose the dark but choose the light.

Love is always there if you just look.

It’s promised when you read the holy book.

Purpose keeps you grounded, keeps you sane.

When positivity- a choice-begins to reign.

Now, valleys will all come into each life

And bitterness will tempt, along with strife

Be grateful for the chance to just grow stronger

Until the trials abate and are no longer.

Be grateful to the God who let you live.

Choose a life of service and to give.
