Hold Me

When you hold me in your arms

I can finally breathe

Anxiety is finally held at bay

The pressures of this world

Which trap my mind

Are banished to another distant day

The comfort that I feel rarer than gold

So lay here by my side a little while

Let’s watch the sunset sink into the bay

As we travel over life’s remaining miles
