The New York Times recently reported that Kim Jong-un is cracking down on a cancer that is destroying North Korean Society: K-Pop. Jong-un has targeted K-Pop super group BTS saying that their music is a danger to society. Named the best-selling artists of 2020 by the IFPI, BTS is a global sensation and is known for its legion of die hard fans called The ‘BTS Army’, who have shown themselves to be a social and cultural force.
