Float and settle

And the drums

Make my heart beat

Faster and faster

And my foot

Begins to tap

And the black cloud

Slowly dissipates

And a seed of joy

Starts to bloom

Deep inside me

As I sing along

And twirl and sway

With the rhythms

And the melody

Unburdens me

Turning the knot

Of dread and anxiety

Into a sweet encounter

With the nirvana

Of healing music
