Ode to Mother

In praise of one who gave me life

Who calmed me through my times of strife

Goodness and kindness personified

The one who told me to put others first

To offer freely to those who thirst

To choose to be saved and sanctified

You never sought after wealth and fame

Taught me to always be proud of my name

To be satisfied if I truly tried

You made my world a loving place

Taught me to freely offer love and grace

To never judge for judgement is never the way

I love you to the moon and back

My support and heart you will never lack

And every day should be Mother’s Day❤️
