Outer Space ( Sun Children 4)

The twelve took off

To outer space

When they heard a noise

their hearts did race.

They looked back

At the home they left.

To an explosion so loud

they felt bereft.

Why did the sun children

Have to die?

They looked at each other

Asking why?

Though guilt was heavy

they continued their quest

They grew weary

But did not rest.

When all at once

they noticed

A massive blue light

The sapphire souls

Were following the ship.

They stuck to the hull.

They were taking the trip

To a planet to start

A new life.

The twelve rejoiced

That their

children survived

They plotted a course

So the colony could thrive
