Life is full of tests and trials

That show who you really are.

Don’t expect compliments and smiles.

If you do, you won’t get far.

Embrace resilience and grit in life;

They are worth more than silver or gold;

For character forms when you handle strife.

Choose to be brave, to be calm, to be bold.

Now, Life is full of twists. and turns,

And it is easy to go off course.

But wise men from life’s lessons learn.

They rely on God as their source-

A source of comfort, a source of Grace-

God reveals to each his purpose and plan,

The reason you’re here in this time and place,

So face your fears and believe you can.

Gold is refined in the hottest fire,

And the same is true of the soul:

Life will be harsh-situations dire-

And tragedy shall take its toll.

Still, When carbon faces pressure and heat

A diamond is born from the pain.

So,Realize your beauty; don’t accept defeat

Self actualization is what you will gain.
