The sun rays signal a glorious new day
As I wake up with you right by my side.
You’ve been with me each step along the way;
We’ve crossed the rivers deep and waters wide.
I have someone to count on in this life
Through ups and downs through pleasure and through pain
Who gives me comfort when life gives me strife
Who shares the sun and shields me from the rain.
One day, I know that time on earth will cease.
Together, we must face eternity,
But having you beside me gives me peace-
Our souls are joined as we are meant to be.
Together we will navigate our fate-
You are my heart, my destiny, my mate.
