Rainstorms

The storm clouds open and the thunder rolls

The steady stream turns into a torrential flow

I look at the heavens and ponder deep in my soul

Why does it rain wherever I go?

Some are blessed with sunshine and ease

They frolic through life with hardly a care

While others must toil on never to cease

Burdened by obligations heavy to bear

But all of us long for a glimpse of the sun

Whose radiance offer respite and rebirth

instead we watch for the rains that come

That follow us wherever we travel on this earth

Why do the rains follow us wherever we go?

Perhaps, its a blessing in disguise

Listen to the rain and you’ll finally know

Wisdom created by adversity in our lives
