Why can’t life be smooth and easy?

Why can’t struggles disappear?

Why must we weather life’s uncertainty?

Why can’t our journey be free and clear?

Why is destiny such a mystery?

Why do we live in constant fear?

Will those we love one day desert us?

Will we lose all we hold dear?

Life is a pursuit of one’s identity —

One’s purpose on this place called earth.

A minefield filled with the unpredictable —

A road we pave to prove our worth.
