I often wonder

What would happen

If they shut

the WIFI down?

Would we drive

around like children

Clueless as a clown?

If we had no social media

To distract us

from real thinking,

Would we fall

into a panic and

Quietly start drinking?

Seek out some distraction

Numb our mind and soul

Because it’s been

so many years

Self actualization

has been our goal?

Would we talk

to family members

Or have we lost that skill?

Would we go fishing

at the lake

Now we have time to kill?

Or would we,instead,

moan in silence

Go through

dopamine withdrawal?

Would we dwell

on our development

Be shocked at

our own fall-
